Born and raised in sunny Southern California, Christi Given was raised with high hopes and dreams for her future in music and entertainment. Christi experienced the hardest time of her life when losing her Father at age 14, as a freshman in High School and had to overcome other obstacles. Perseverance and faith have always been what Christi strongly believes in and she hopes to give that fresh revelation to people globally.

Given has experienced her pursuit of music and journalism by receiving her Bachelor’s Degree in Communication with an emphasis in Journalism from Vanguard University of Southern California and helping lead worship at school and through her church.

Given interned at the network of JCTV ( and later became a host for her own online show “Christi’s Corner,” which is a weekly news update show featuring the latest in Christian music news and more. Currently she hosts for the network for shows such as Top 3, and XVZ (Xtreme Video Zone). Given recently in the latter of 2012 signed to a music label in Nashville, and is set to release her first single to radio in 2013. Given has 4 original singles on iTunes from her EP “Let Us Worship.”

Currently, Given writes for a website called, “Project Inspired,” which is reaching thousands of teens-young adults monthly as it seeks to change the mentality of what true beauty is, give hope through faith, be a place of refuge for the broken and to have a forum and place to communicate what is going on culturally. (

Christi wants to reach the youth and the next generation by reminding them of their value, worth, purpose and that they have a hope and a future! Given seeks to change society, impact the youth and the next generation through music, media Television, and writing. Given believes in in the vision of Elev-8 and is honored to join the team!
